Personal Statement

I believe I am an approachable person, who takes the feelings of others into consideration at all times. I follow my studies and work enthusiastically, and constantly seek a greater level of responsibility than my current role is able to offer. I appreciate the advantages of working in a team situation, but at the same time, am both willing and able to complete tasks individually as required. Through my participation in playing football, I believe I have demonstrated my commitment, motivation, and competitiveness, and my ability to work as part of a team. My work experience as a DJ has improved my organising and prioritising skills, whilst necessitating the effective management of time. As a cashier, I have reinforced skills such as teamwork, customer care, and problem solving. During my time in the Front Office at Novotel Sheffield, I believe I consolidated my ability to work as part of a team, as well as becoming more assertive and proactive, whilst becoming increasingly experienced in supervision. I believe that my experiences inside and outside of work have taught me valuable skills, on both a professional and a personal level, all of which I shall be able to make effective use of in any organisation.
